Just a quick note to you all. My existing email account was being hacked by spammer. I lost all my emails in a sudden! This happened after I respond to an "Official email from Yahoo" asking for verification.
To all yahoo email user, please don't respond to this spam sent by "Fake Yahoo Verification"! All your mails will be delete from your inbox and spam messages will send to all of your contacts.

I have 4 new "Failure Notice" messages in my inbox now, but the strange thing is I don't send any email to these 4 persons in these few days. I know this spam was successfully sent from my address to all my contacts. It fail to send to these 4 persons because their address was no longer exist. The "Failure Notice" which sent using my email address by the spammer read:
"Hope you get this on time, I made a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland and had my bag stolen from me with my passport and personal effects therein. The embassy is willing to help by letting me fly without my passport, I just have to pay for a ticket and settle Hotel bills. Unfortunately for me, I can't have access to funds, I've made contact with my bank but they need more time to come up with a new one. I was thinking of asking you to lend me some quick funds that I can give back as soon as I get in. I really need to be on the next available flight.
I can forward you details on how you can get the funds to me.
I await your response!"
If you get such email, just ignore it. Stay away from this scam.
For security reason, I will get another new email account soon.

Vinniey, I'm sorry you had to go through that! I have had my yahoo account hacked twice. Now I try to be more diligent about changing my password. It's embarrassing because the things that people were sent were rather rude. :P It's such a big hassle! Hang in there.
That is so annoying. One of the pitfalls of technology I guess. So sorry you have to deal with this.
I got the "scam email" too Vinniey. What a pain in the neck for you! So sorry you have to deal with this. Nancy D.
I got the email too. I sent a new email telling you about how you had been hacked but I didn't click 'reply'. I am so sorry. Get a new email address and we can all start fresh with you there.

I got one and knew that it wasn't you! I'm so sorry that this happened - I hate the way hackers try to infiltrate everything. Hope you get it all straight soon. :)
I got one too but figured this is what happened. It's amazing how easy it is for someone to do this :o( Hopefully you get things straightened out soon.
I got one, too. I relieved to hear that you had not lost your passport abroad, and I'm sorry that you are suffering from mail hacking... I hope you'll recover from the mail trouble soon.
I have received several emails like that too. I have learned to delete them, quickly!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Best wishes,
Peggy Lee
Hope you get this sorted out soon.. miss reading your blog! Is this why you haven't posted lately?
Quick tip - don't ever answer email verification letters that ask for your username and password - it's usually a scam!
The hackers did the same to me and the same message too...rotters!
